Call for Papers: GI Quantum Computing Workshop 2026
The GI Quantum Computing Workshop 2026 offers a comprehensive platform for exploring cutting-edge developments in quantum computing and serves as the annual meeting point of the German Quantum Computing community.
The GI Quantum Computing Workshop 2026 offers a comprehensive platform for exploring cutting-edge developments in quantum computing and serves as the annual meeting point of the German Quantum Computing community. Aligned with the festival's focus on digital resilience, the workshop addresses how quantum technologies both contribute to and challenge resilient digital ecosystems. The organizers encourage submissions across the full spectrum of quantum computing research—from theoretical foundations and algorithms to hardware, software, and emerging applications—as well as interdisciplinary work at the intersection with physics, cryptography, and AI.
Researchers and engineers working on topics as listed below are kindly invited to submit research papers, surveys, tutorials, work-in-progress reports, extended abstracts, etc. This includes new original work but also recent papers published in or submitted to other venues but of interest for the workshop audience. Accordingly, authors can decide whether their accepted contributions to the workshop are included in the proceedings or not.

- 01.07.2026 - Notification of acceptance
- 12.07.2026 - Camera-ready submission
- 24.09.2026 - Workshop at TU Dresden, Germany
Submission Guidelines
The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers consisting of 10 pages
- Short papers consisting of 4 pages
Please use either the LaTeX-Template (CTAN) or LaTeX-Template (Overleaf) provided by the GI.
Submission
Authors must first register in ConfTool. Please use the following link to access the ConfTool homepage:

After accessing the site, authors need to create their own user account.
Once logged in, authors can find an overview of all workshops under "Übersicht" > "Ihre Einreichungen" (currently the ConfTool is only provided in German language). From there, they can select the appropriate workshop and submit their contribution.
Please make sure to choose the “GI Quantum Computing Workshop” when submitting your paper.
